How Belarusians organize conferences?
For 9th time this year the biggest Internet event in Minsk, Belarus, the so called “Деловой интернет” (transl. Business Internet), was held from 9th to 11th of October, where thought the sessions, workshops and master-classes we’ve learned about the local Internet, online market, marketing and social media. Over 1000 people have participated actively by asking questions, listening and taking part in the discussions.
Let’s stop with the presenting and give you something more useful.
Lessons learned:
– Among the first presenters was the director of the biggest Belarusian hosting company Hoster.by Sergey Povalishev. He was so proud to announce the BIG NEWS about the approved and coming soon on the market the Cyrillic domain “.бел”. Congratulations!
– The general director of the Belarusian portal TYT.BY Alexander Chekan shared “28 reliable slides about the Belarusians on the Internet”, real numbers about the belarusian users. Interesting was to know that there are almost 5 million Internet-users, which means that the percent of the Belarusians online is about 71.
– A German representative of Google Trillhaas Goets talked about the main principles of the work on the Internet nowadays and here is the most important one: First are coming the people and then the money!
– Mr Roman Mаslennikov, a PR specialist, shared with us in his presentation “PR in the small and medium business:” 12 budget ideas bringing great reputation with small investments, as for example: “Create an informational explosion – if you want to attract attention first you have to create news. The more provocative, the more popular!”
We were amazed also by the creative campaigns that were waiting for us on the booths in the coffee area. Some photos we’ve already shared on our social pages.
From our point of view, as foreigners..or not so much..
in Belarus we felt like home, because the Belarusians are very polite and positive. From business point of view, they know how to reach the end-user, they want to keep learning and developing themselves, participating in conferences, lessons…making partnerships…making good advertisement.
Belarusians, thank you for the warm welcome! Hope to see you soon!
