Last week, from 10th to 13th September, part of the team of .САЙТ and .ОНЛАЙН have participated on the 6th International conference for ccTLD registries and registrars of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, in Crete, Greece. On the first day of the event our “Marketing and communications specialist” Tatiana Ivanova have presented the topic “The huge potential of the domains in Cyrillic and the 3 HOW”.

The first part included details about “the red caviar of the domains” in your own language (=THE BIG POTENTIAL): as a whole, every trademark will be displayed on the Internet in its original form; every name is easier to remember and simply findable on the Internet: for example, which of these examples you will find closer to your nationality: “сheburashka.com” or “чебурашка.онлайн”.

As we all now, there is an ocean with fresh undeveloped ideas. So, Tania gave some advice for the companies working on the online field for reaching more people in order to give them light and more information and showing better to the world their ideas. After the presentation Tania had a a lot of questions to answer regarding the whole process of registering our new domain names. We are the first of the new TLDs, so the process is now deleting and everyone is waiting for our experience.

Two days working together was very fruitful for us. On the conference we’ve met a lot of experts form Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Serbia, Greece, USA, Germany and other. We’ve heard presentations on different topics, including business models of the new TLDs, legal and technical sessions and marketing and education on the Internet.

One more time, we are thankful to the organizers and to all attendees for the good spending time and the feedback that we received. We spent really an amazing time on Crete. Thank you!
